We are the information center of Flower Mound – the front door of the community. Whatever the question, we try to find the answer. The Chamber is a not-for-profit community organization funded by membership dues and dollars generated from business-related programs and special events.

The Flower Mound Chamber is an organization committed to meeting the needs of the community, with a dual concern for business and for quality of life. The community needs a healthy private sector and the private sector needs a healthy community. We at the Flower Mound Chamber strive to unite both while continuing to promote our town.

The Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce represents more than 750 businesses – all interested in making Flower Mound a better, more vital place to live and do business. These business representatives are people who believe that collectively they can accomplish more than one could do individually.

Leads

When you attend Leads Networking, you will have the opportunity to stand up and give a 30 second introduction of yourself and your business. This gives those in attendance the chance to know who you are and to gain knowledge of the kind of lead that you are searching for. The whole objective of Leads is to meet other business people and to “cultivate productive relationships for employment or business.” On an average there are 80 people who attend Leads Meetings on a regular basis and most of those have given testimony to the fact that Leads has been a large part of their business growth.

Government 12 at 12

The Government 12 at 12 luncheons are held each month and are offered to the first 12 members of the FM Chamber who call and rsvp first.  There are no charges for the lunch, however we ask that you only attend once per year.  Our Town Council plus other Government Officials will be the guest speakers at each lunch.  This is a time to get to know your elected officials.  Please call the Chamber to make your reservations: 972-539-0500 or email c.howard@flowermoundchamber.com

Economic Development Forum

Hosted by the Town’s Economic Development office and the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce
To enhance communication with the development and commercial brokerage community, the Town of Flower Mound and the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce are hosting monthly meetings to discuss new and upcoming economic development projects. Breakfast and coffee will be provided. No admission cost. RSVP Required.

Leadership FM

Leadership Flower Mound is a nine-month program that begins in September with a team-building course at nearby Stoney Ranch and ends in May with a graduation of the participants. Examples of classes include: The History of Flower Mound, Education, Community Service, Town, County and State Government. The class meets each month on the second Tuesday from 9:00am – 4:00 p.m. Cost is $650.

OUR TEAM
Lori WalkerChamber President

Lori joined our Board of Directors in 2005 and served in every capacity including Chairman of the Board in 2008.  She became the President of the Flower Mound Chamber in August 2013.  Lori is a graduate of Austin College and is married to Neil with sons Hayden and Truitt.  Her favorite past time is attending her kids activities, sporting events, and traveling!

Cindi HowardVP of Operations

Cindi joined our team in September 2000.  She is a graduate of Midwestern State University and is married to Clifford with children Colton, Caylie and Colbi.  Cindi’s passion is serving others and her favorite past time is spending fun time with her family and bargain shopping.

Kelly HeslepVP of Programs and Events

Kelly joined our team in March 2007.  Kelly’s higher education came from Stephen F. Austin State University.  She is married to Tom and has daughters Allie & Emma and a new son-in-law Kyle.  Kelly enjoys spending time and travelling with her girls, husband, and friends!  She also loves to garden, sew, decorate, and plan parties!

Mary AilorReceptionist

Mary joined our team in February 2011.  She went to Rutherford’s Business College in Dallas.  Mary is married to Ron and has a daughter, Tamara, son Paul, and two stepsons Jason and Blake.  She has 5 grandchildren and 1 great grand!  Her favorite past time is getting together with family and friends and meeting new and interesting people.
