Now that I am a Chamber member, how do I get involved?
Ambassador Group is a group of Flower Mound Chamber Members that are committed to welcoming new businesses into the community. Ambassadors attend ribbon cuttings, grand openings and mixers. If new businesses are your customer, this might be the group for you.
Workshops/Seminars Every year we offer several workshops to assist our members in different aspects of their business, like marketing, human resources and motivation. The topics will be determined by surveys and the availability of presenters.
Leadership Flower Mound is a nine-month program that begins in September with a team-building course at nearby Stoney Ranch and ends in May with a graduation of the participants. Examples of classes include: The History of Flower Mound, Education, Community Service, Town, County and State Government. The class meets each month on the second Tuesday from 9:00am – 4:00 p.m. Cost is $650.
Chamber Board Room The Chamber gladly offers members the opportunity to use our board room in the event that you need a place to meet with a client. We ask that you call and reserve the board room. Note: It will only be available during Chamber hours, M-F 9:00 – 5:00pm.
Monthly Chamber Luncheons are typically held the third Tuesday of each month. Attendance at luncheons will consist of approximately 120 Chamber members and members of local government. New members are introduced and will be our guest at their first luncheon. After the first luncheon you may pay for your luncheon at the door and RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
eNews! is the best way to stay connected. The Chamber emails an eNews! newsletter each week to keep you informed on all that is going on at the Chamber. The eNews! is our way of keeping in close contact with our members and to make sure that you don’t miss anything that is offered.
Leads Networking According to Webster’s, networking is “to interact or engage in informal communication with others for mutual assistance or support.” Take advantage of this opportunity to spotlight your business and get direct results through “leads” generated from the group. Leads
Networking meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at Celebrations Grand Ballroom in Highland Village. The cost is $7 and includes a wonderful buffet breakfast.
Chamber After Five Mixers are networking mixers that are usually planned on the 1st, and 2nd Thursday of each month. Mixers are held at different Chamber member locations each month. Fun, food and adult beverages will be available. The cost to sponsor a Chamber After Hours Mixer is $400.
Website Included in your membership is a listing on our Website. If your company has a website we will build a FREE link to your website from the Chamber website.
Member Database The membership database, a set of labels, is available to the Chamber members at no cost. An electronic form of database is available for $500.
